Now in its fourth printing, this cookbook is actually a tiny history of Glenna's life in and around coal mining towns, beginning in Welch up to the present. The quality of the reproduced photographs is outstanding making this book a rare treat for those of us who grew up in McDowell County. Included is this August 1946 street scene of the Pocahontas and Temple theaters in Welch which is also featured on the Welch High School Alumni web site.
