"Dante and I really didn't know each other in high school. I was in his brother's (Bobby Castrodale) class. They both went to Staunton Military Academy after junior high and graduated from there. One summer night in 1970 I was on a double date with Dante and his date. In a few days, he called to ask me out. The rest is history. We wanted to be married on Valentine's Day, but it was in the middle of the week so we were married on February 17, 1973. We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary this February (2000) with our two beautiful daughters, Cari Lyn who is 15 and Jelisa Ann who is 20. We hope to celebrate MANY more anniversaries together." |

"She was in the class of '58. We were around each other growing up in Carswell, but I never noticed her until she was in the ninth grade. She seemed to have changed some! It wasn't until 1956 that I began to think about her, I was going overseas in the service and stopped by her house, she kissed me goodbye. She wrote once or twice; she was very pretty and had lots of friends. When I came home during her senior year, we dated some, I would pick her up "on the hill" in my red convertible! In July '59 we married, this summer will be our 41st anniversary. She has changed little, still very pretty." |
